Jared Goff’s model girlfriend Christen Harper is reminiscing about living in Los Angeles just days before the Lions quarterback will return to play his former Rams team.
During a Q&A with fans on Instagram Wednesday, Harper was asked if she misses LA, to which she responded, “I’ve honestly been loving the change of pace” in Detroit.
Goff and Harper relocated from LA to Detroit after the Rams traded Goff for Matthew Stafford in March, along with first-round picks in 2022 and 2023 and their third-round pick this year.
Harper explained that living in Detroit has given her the “opportunity to slow down and focus on things I haven’t been able to in a long time because of the fast paced lifestyle in LA. Of course missing my friends and family and I’m sure I’ll start missing the sunshine, but honestly and truly loving it here,” she said.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2022 rookie made her Miami Swim Week debut in July, where she represented SI on the runway in a green, crochet bikini.
Goff will return to SoFi stadium Sunday in Week 7 for the first time since the blockbuster quarterback trade.
After the trade was done in March — fast-tracked by a Cabo vacation run-in between Stafford and Rams head coach Sean McVay — Goff said he was blindsided by the move, and that both sides has no contact between the end of the season and the trade.
On Monday, McVay reflected on Goff’s exit and admitted, “I wish there was better, clearer communication.”
However, the trade has helped the Rams get off to a 5-1 start, while the Lions are currently the only team without a win so far this season. Goff has thrown for 1,505 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions this season.
Following Detroit’s 34-11 loss to the Bengals Sunday at Ford Field, Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Goff “has to step up more than he has.”
